'As the owner of two little handfuls - British Shorthairs Ted and Matilda - I initially looked into getting a cat sitter when we booked our first lengthy holiday since we’d had them. Reluctant to send them to a cattery’s restricted and unfamiliar environment and with neighbours who aren’t huge animal people, I was over the moon to find a fellow cat lover in Shona. Before leaving for the holiday, she came over to meet them and chat through everything from favourite toys to what time they like their breakfast. After she then managed to get Matilda (who’s super shy) to play with her, I knew she was a keeper! Throughout our holiday, not only did I receive texts reassuring me that they were happy and well, but I was also sent photos of them playing, which is a real comfort when you’re half way across the world! Shona has now taken care of them for a number of trips and has established a real bond with both the cats; something you don’t get with the bigger companies who send in different people for each daily visit. I’d recommend Shona in a heartbeat and will be using her services for many more holidays to come, as the cats grow from boisterous kittens to OAPs!'   - Jen & Mark

'Shona is truly the best cat sitter I've ever hired. She went out of her way to create games for the cats to keep them entertained and stimulated. During the heat wave, she went twice per day to make sure they were doing okay. She sent me photos and videos everyday with updates. And most importantly, the cats loved her. My youngest timid cat, who is very slow to warm up to people, let her rub his stomach on the second day. Shona took care of my cats for six weeks while I was applying for a work visa. I had already settled my three cats in Norwich, but I had to leave the UK for an uncertain period of time to apply for my work visa. I was very anxious about leaving them for so long, particularly when I didn't know when I could return. Shona took such good care of the cats that it eased my anxiety, and she also was very flexible and understanding about the uncertainty of my return date.Shona is an amazing cat sitter, and I will definitely hire her again! 'I have used Shona a couple of times now to look after my two Russian blue x rag doll kittens and it's safe to say I wouldn't go anywhere else. My kittens absolutely adore Shona, which puts me at great ease whenever we go away. Shona always keeps in communication about the two fur babies and sends daily pictures of the kittens playing, eating, cuddling etc which gives such peace of mind whilst being away from them.I honestly couldn't recommend Shona enough! Also, she isn't just a "feed your cat" service, she loves them like her own, fussing them, playing with them and making them as happy as possible. In addition, as we have indoor kittens she also clears the litter trays which is great. On our most recent holiday, I forgot to top up wet food and litter, so Shona kindly bought some more so it wouldn't be an inconvenience for when we got back from holiday - amazing service. She is just everything you need - reliable, does the job well, she’s lovely and our cats LOVE her (including our girl who is scared of everyone yet rolls on her back for Shona to stroke her tummy). We get daily photos and videos when we are away. Her advice cleared our house of fleas in two days, when we’d spent months struggling! 'Shona has looked after our cat Bobby twice now over the Christmas and New Year period. The first time round he was a kitten and we'd only had him for a few months.
